Silver Star on Black Christmas Stocking

This stocking is for my Brother in law. The lining reminds me of the Aperture symbol  from the game Portal.

This stocking is fully lined and has french seams.

This is the last of my stockings to share, while I made more (13 in total) I just ran out of time to photograph them, I started all these non traditional Christmas Stocking because of a bizarre fever dream I had in October, I’m really happy that  I decided to “follow my dream” and make all of these, I truly hope they are appreciated and thank you so much for viewing my posts on them. Dragon Christmas Stocking

I found this really cool scaly looking fabric for my nephews stocking, reminded me of dragons, the bits of color on the green fabric really added a fun sparkly quality to the scales.

Parisian Rose with Red and white Dots Christmas Stocking

I made this lovely Stocking for my sister in law, she really liked this fabric while visiting me. This fabric is the largest quantity of fabric I have ever purchased, at 10 yards, it was hilarious to fold it in one piece after washing.

Creeper Inspired Christmas Stocking

Made this Minecraft inspired stocking for my youngest nephew, I even found a Minecraft bat plushy to put into it. The green reminded me of a creeper and the red, redstone. The opposite side is reversed, the squares are a red version , and the stone top part is green stone.

Tropical Vacation Inspired Christmas Stocking

I made this Hawaiian print Christmas stocking for my super chill youngest brother in law. The idea made me smile,  I think this one, out of all the  non traditional stockings I made, was the funnest to make.

Metallic Peacock Paisley with Purple Roses Christmas Stocking

 I really love this stocking for my sister in law,Its not really visible but there is gold metallic that lines the paisley print, The blue is so bright against the black background it looks almost like it is black lighted.  It is fully lined in purple rose fabric with french seams. This stocking is closest to the decor I saw in my fever dream, in a two story brownstone boutique.

Lilacs and Dots Christmas stocking

Continuing my non traditional Christmas stockings inspired by a vivid fever dream, is my lilac and dot stocking for my sister in law, I love lilacs, they don’t grow well where I live now, but growing up, they would tower above me sending out its sweet scent in every direction. I do have a small pink lilac in a container in my large south facing window that is doing quite well, and look forward to its blooms in the spring.

This stocking is fully lined with french seams, and has a ribbon loop. I really love mixing dots and floral, I think it came out well. I have ten stockings I have finished sewing,  3 more to go.

Green and Rose Brocade Christmas Stockings

I had a fever dream of Christmas Stockings in non traditions colors and themes,this was in October, I decided to make them this year and got started right away, I made my own pattern and started planning. After a lot of work , I have made 10,  3 more to go. Each is one of a kind, designed for each person in mind .

 This is for my 13 year old niece, fully lined with black and tiny white dots with enclosed seams, The loop is ribbon, i will share all my stockings. I hope you enjoy them as much as I had dreaming of them.
